This is a reprint of the1919 book, containing the letters of Mayo Lind, an original soldier in the Newfoundland Regiment. Follows their exploits during enlistment, crossing the Atlantic, fighting in Gallipoli, Egypt and to France. Lind was killed in action at Beaumont-Hamel, July 1st, 1916.
