LEO'S WAR
FROM GASPE TO VIMY

Leo's War is the collection of letters sent home by Leo Le Boutillier, DCM, of the 24th Battalion, CEF. The letters start in 1915 and continue through the early battles of the Canadian Corps, including St. Eloi Craters, Mount Sorrel, and the Somme (where Leo wins the DCM), up to the assault on Vimy Ridge. During the famous attack Leo was mortally wounded, and died a few days later at Boulogne. Leo's War is a touching look into the life of a Canadian soldier. 184 pages.
