Major Guy Bieler was one of the most successful SOE operatives in occupied France in 1942-43. His story is also the subject of Norm Christie's TV show, The Secret Liberators. Bieler ran a sabatoge circuit in Northern France, under the noses of the Gestapo. Through betrayal he was captured in 1944 and executed at a Concentration camp later that year. This book is by his daughter, and is a touching story about a father, a war hero, she never got to know.
